Removing front door window glass
WARNING:
Working on 12 V electrical system.

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.

Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE MODULE BRACKET FROM THE FRONT DOOR .
- Refer to REMOVING OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to RELEASING THE FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .
- Open the front door window glass so that the screws (1) are accessible.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Unscrew the screws (1) so far until the disassembly of the front door window glass is possible.NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Lift holder (1) on the tab (2) in arrow direction.
- Feed out the front door window glass (3) from the door upwards.
