Install the complete front axle with the engine and automatic transmission (all-wheel drive)

WARNING: Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist if the vehicle hoist is handled incorrectly .

Position the lifting table (1) with the engine under the vehicle.

Raise the lifting table (1) in arrow direction and pay attention to the free movement of all components.

Spread the swivel bearing (1) in arrow direction with the special tool 2 414 636 .
Feed in the swivel bearing (1) at the spring strut (2) and position it correctly.
Remove the special tool 2 414 636 .

Make sure that the installation position of the spring strut (1) and the swivel bearing (2) in the marked area (3) is correct .

Tighten the screw (1) on the front subframe (3) at the outer rear left .

M10 Replace screws.	Tightening torque Angle of rotation	56 Nm 90°

M14 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	120 Nm

Tighten the screw (1) on the front subframe (3) at the outer right rear .

M10 Replace screws.	Tightening torque Angle of rotation	56 Nm 90°

Release the lug bolts (2) at the left front .
Release the adjustment screw (3) and feed out the mount (1) and set aside.
