Removing left and right gutter strip of the windshield

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Removing the water collection strip on the windshield

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components.
Scratches, surface damage.

Unclip the gutter strip (1) in the center beginning from the top out of the clamps (2) and (3) .

Pull out the gutter strip (1) in the arrow direction from the guide (2) and carefully feed it out at the side panel (3) .

Unclip the gutter strip on the windshield (1) upwards from the clamps (2) starting at the roof.

Pull the gutter strip on the windshield (1) out of the guide (2) in the arrow direction and carefully guide it out at the side panel (3) .
