Remove A-pillar trim panel, left and right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Removing the hands-free microphone

Remove the hands-free microphone (1) from the A-pillar trim panel (2) with special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020) .

Disconnect the plug connection (1) and remove the hands-free microphone (2) .

Loosen screw (1) .
Unclip the A-pillar trim panel (2) at the clip (3) and feed out towards the top.
