Removing transmission cross-member

• Release the locks (1).
• Remove the lid (2).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Suspend the cover (2) on one side.

  Loosen screw (1).

• Release nut (1).

  Support the transmission using special tools  0 495 498 (23 4 050)  and  2 219 012  . 

• Secure the transmission with the luggage strap (1).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Loosen screw (2).
• Remove the transmission cross member (3) and lower the transmission a little.

• Release the screw (1)  of the cover (2)  .
