Removing the loading edge trim

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING EMERGENCY WHEEL .

• Loosen the expanding rivet (1).
• Unclip loading edge trim (2) upwards from detents (3).
• Guide the loading edge trim (2) beneath the sealing lip of the tailgate seal and remove it.
