Installing air conditioning compressor

Preparing for the installation of the air-conditioning compressor 

• Screw the screws (2)  into the threaded support bushings (1)  .
• Push back the threaded support bushings (1)  with the help of screws (2)  slightly in the arrow direction.
• Unscrew the screws (2)  out of the threaded support bushings (1)  .

• Replace O-rings.

  Parts:  O-rings

• Insert and position the air conditioning compressor (1)  from above.
• Correctly position the refrigerant lines on the air conditioning compressor (1)  .
• Tighten down screws (2)  .

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Refrigerant line on air conditioning compressor
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Correctly position the air conditioning compressor (2)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Air conditioning compressor in component carrier
  M10	Tightening torque	38 Nm

• Slide the coolant hose (1)  slightly to the side.
• Connect connectors (2)  and lock.

• Refer to INSTALLING THE FRONT HOOD SEAL .
• Refer to EVACUATING AND CHARGING CONDITIONING .
• Refer to RUNNING IN THE NEW AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR .
