1 Drive belt for alternator 

• Position the drive belt for alternator (2)  on the ancillary components.
• Raise the preload with standard tools (1)  on the belt tensioner in the arrow direction  .
• Feed out the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390)  from the belt tensioner and remove.

• Refer to INSTALLING THE ACOUSTIC COVER FOR THE ENGINE, FRONT .
• Refer to ATTACHING THE ELECTRIC AUXILIARY COOLANT PUMP FOR THE CHARGE AIR COOLER AND/OR AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE CLEAN AIR PIPE WITH THE RESONATOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING ACOUSTIC COVER .
