Installing the door weather strip on the rear door

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The repair notes of bonded seals form the basis for these repair notes and must be observed without fail.

Hang the door weather strip (1) over rear the door with the open lip facing inwards.
Sealing joint in area (A) position.

Bond the door weather strip (1) as follows:

Gradually detach protective film
Align the door weather strip (1) corresponding to the specified dimensions (X) or the templates and press on lightly
Check the position of the door weather strip (1) and correct if necessary
Do not overstretch or compress the door weather strip (1) when positioning it
Maximum permissible sag of the door weather strip (1) during the positioning process is 30 mm
Always apply pressure perpendicular to the bonding surface to affix the door weather strip (1)
Affix the door weather strip (1) with firm thumb pressure

A	17 mm
B	5 mm
C	5 mm

Create a sealing joint in area (A) , and shorten the door weather strip (1) accordingly as needed.
Position the door weather strip (1) along the template (3) :

The edge of the door weather strip (1) is flush with the mark (4) of the template (3) .
