Removing the actuator on the left hood hinge
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT WIPER ARM .
- Refer to REMOVE WINDSHIELD PANEL COVER .

- Loosen screw (1) .
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Pull the actuator (3) slightly forwards in the arrow direction and remove it.
