Replacing the module bracket
WARNING:
Working on 12 V electrical system

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment
- Detach battery ground lead from battery
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to PREPARING THE SPECIAL TOOL
- Refer to REMOVING DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE COVER ON THE INTERIOR WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT MODULE BRACKET .
- Removing flat motor for the front power windows
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect
- Loosen screws (2)
- Remove the flat motor for the front power windows (3)
- Remove the loudspeaker on the front door
- Loosen screws (1)
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (2)
- Remove the loudspeaker on the front door (3)
- Installing the loudspeaker on the front door
- Connect connectors (2) and lock
- Position the loudspeaker on the front door (3) and tighten the screws (1)TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Loudspeaker in door to module bracket in door Oval-head screw for thermoplastic Tightening torque 2 Nm - Replace the module bracket

- Installing flat motor for front power windows
- Installing flat motor for front power windows (3)
- Tighten down screws (2)TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Flat motor to module bracket in door Oval-head screw for thermoplastic Tightening torque 3.5 Nm - Connect connectors (1) and lock
- Removing airbag sensor from the front door
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect
- Turn the airbag sensor (2) on the front door in arrow direction and remove
- Installing airbag sensor in the front door
- Position the airbag sensor (2) on the front door and lock in the arrow direction
- Connect connectors (1) and lock

- Refer to INSTALLING OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to INSTALLING THE OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR .
- Refer to PARTIALLY INSTALLING THE COVER ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDOW FRAME .
- Refer to INSTALLING DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to ACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
