Install upper cross connection

• Guide in cross connection (3) and position it correctly
• Carefully pull out bumper cover (1) a little as shown
• Mount the expanding rivets (2)

• Position the bumper cover correctly and tighten screws (1)

  Adapter to the front panel
  Oval-head screw with spring washer	Tightening torque	4.6 Nm

• Tighten the screws (2)
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Cross connection at the top to rear cross connection
  M8x20 screw	Tightening torque	28 Nm

• Tighten the screws (1)
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Cross connection at the top to the lock support
  Oval-head screw	Tightening torque	28 Nm

• Tighten the screws (2)

  Cross connection, top
  M6x20	Tightening torque	11.8 Nm

• Hook Bowden cable (1) into the upper cross connection
• Position Bowden cable bracket (2) together with the Bowden cables and hook Bowden cable (1)

• Clip Bowden cable bracket (1) into the body
• Close lid (2) and engage it into snap-in lugs (3)
