31 11 040 Removing and installing/replacing stiffening plate (2' Series convertible models with RWD)
IMPORTANT:
Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
for raising the vehicle
Driving without stiffening plate is not permissible!
Driving without stiffening plate is not permissible!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 31 10 6AZ .
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 31 10 7AZ .
Remove stiffening plate (reinforcement plate) (3).
Installation note:
Replace screws.
