Detach the propeller shaft from the transmission and tie it up on the vehicle floor

Precondition

Heat shields have been removed.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Compliance with the following instructions is required to avoid a humming from the prop shaft after refitting the prop shaft.

Before you unscrew the bolt (1) , mark the installation position of the flexible disc (2) to the three-hole flange (3) .

Use a suitable tool (1) to protect the propeller shaft at the center universal joint from turning.

Remove screws (arrows).

Loosen screws (1) .
Detach the propeller shaft from the transmission and tie it up on the vehicle floor.
