Removing and installing/replacing rear acoustic cover (corrosion protection) (M240i and M240i xDrive coupe/convertible)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Refer to REMOVING CENTER FIREWALL UPPER PART SOUND INSULATION .

Removal: 

Thread out acoustic cover (1) to top of the guides in the marked areas.

Installation: 

Check acoustic cover (1) for cracks and damages.

Replace faulty acoustic cover (1).
