13 54 030 Removing and installing/sealing throttle body (230i and 230i xDrive coupe/convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Refer to REMOVING ACOUSTIC COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING DESIGN COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING CHARGE AIR LINE . (Release only)

Removal: 

Release screw (1).

Loosen the screws along the arrows.

Unlock and disconnect plugs (2).

Feed out and remove throttle body (3).

Preparation for installation: 

Replace sealing ring (1).

Part:  Sealing ring

Replace sealing ring (1).

Installation: 

Connect connector (2) and lock.

Connector (2) must snap audibly into place.

Guide in throttle valve fitting (3) and install.

Tighten screws along arrows.

Tightening torque 13 54 1AZ .

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 13 54 2AZ .
