11 53 082 Remove and install/replace coolant feed line for turbocharger (230i and 230i xDrive coupe/convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Refer to DRAINING COOLANT .
• Refer to REMOVING CATALYTIC CONVERTER .

Removal: 

Attention! 

Remaining coolant can escape.

Release screw (1).

Pull off coolant feed line (3) from the engine block.

Release screw (2).

Pull off coolant feed line (3) from the turbocharger.

Installation: 

Parts:  Replace O-rings (1).

Position coolant feed line (3).

Tighten screw (2).

Tightening torque 11 53 1AZ .

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 11 53 2AZ .
