35 40 001 Removing and installing or replacing accelerator pedal module (2' Series coupe and convertible, 2017-2021)

Take off protective cap.

Release screw (1).

Pull the accelerator pedal module (2) upwards out of the holder (see following step).

Installation note: 

Tightening torque 35 40 1AZ .

Lift the accelerator pedal module (1) at the bottom by approx. 2 cm to feed it out of the holder (2).

Push the accelerator pedal module (1) out of the holder (3) in the direction of arrow (diagonally upwards).

Pull off connector (1).

Remove accelerator pedal module.

Installation note: 

Risk of damage! 

Do not pinch the wiring harness between the holder (2) and accelerator pedal module! Install cables "invisibly"!

First insert the accelerator pedal module (1) into the holder (2) at the top in the direction of arrow.

Then align in holder (3) below.

There is a positioning pin at the bottom of the accelerator pedal module that enables correct alignment.
