Removing and installing/replacing top cover on tail panel (2016-2022)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT) .

Release expanding rivets (1).

Lever out trim (2) inwards/upwards.

Installation note: 

Make sure edge protection for tailgate (2) is correctly seated on cover.
