Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right side trim panel (2016-2022)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove ARMREST SIDE SECTION .
• Remove REAR SEAT .
• Remove TRIM PANEL FOR ROOF PILLAR AT THE REAR (C-PILLAR) .

Detach edge protection (1) in area of side trim panel (3).

Release side trim panel (3) from clip (2) and clamps (4) and remove it.

Installation note: 

Replace faulty clips (2) and clamps (4).

Installation note: 

Feed in side trim panel (1) in the area of the covers (2 and 3).

Position side trim panel (1) correctly against the clamps and clips and clip it in.
