Removing and installing/replacing V-support (2016-2022)

IMPORTANT: Driving without V-support is not permissible (risk of damage to body).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Release screws (1) and (2).

Detach grille (1) from air duct (2).

Detach air duct (2) from air duct (3).

Release screws (1).

Detach air duct (1) from deformation elements 2).

Feed out air duct (1) with the V support (3).

Installation:

Feed out air duct (1) with the V support (3).

Attach air duct (1) in the deformation elements (2).

NOTE: Make sure air duct (1) is correctly seated.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 11 7AZ .

Feed in air duct (2) into air duct (3).

Feed in grille (1) into air duct (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 11 7AZ .

Tighten down screws (2).
