Remove spring strut

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE REAR LEFT OR RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL .
• Refer to DETACHING THE UPPER WISHBONE FROM THE SWIVEL BEARING .
• Refer to SECURING THE SWIVEL BEARING .
• Refer to DETACHING THE ANTI-ROLL BAR LINK FROM THE SPRING STRUT .
• Refer to DETACHING THE SPRING STRUT IN FRONT .
• Refer to DETACHING THE SPRING STRUT FROM THE WISHBONE ON THE BOTTOM .

• Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1) and (2).
• Remove cable from holder (3).

• Press the swivel bearing down slightly.
• Remove the spring strut (1) at the bottom of the wishbone.
• Remove spring strut (1).
