Removing the belt tensioner
CAUTION:
Component with preload.

- Reduce preload as far as possible before disassembly. Relieve component.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING BOTH FRONT-END STRUTS .
- Refer to REMOVING UPPER CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING FAN COWL .
- Refer to PARTIALLY RELEASING THE COOLANT EXPANSION TANK FOR THE LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLANT CIRCUIT .
- Refer to REMOVING DRIVE BELT .
- Release the screw on the belt tensioner (1) using a suitable socket wrench (2).
- Remove the belt tensioner (1).
