- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.

NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the gasoline particulate filter .
Forcibly removing, installing or dropping the gasoline particulate filter down will damage it .

- Remove and install the gasoline particulate filter without damaging it and without applying external force.
- Avoid impacts/knocks to the gasoline particulate filter (e.g. by tools, falling down, hard contact with base).
- Determine the separation point with the length of the pipe at the new center silencer (2) if the separation point is not marked by a grain in the pipe.
- Mark the separation point on the component being replaced.
- Secure the gasoline particulate filter and the front pipe respectively (1) and the rear silencer (3) from falling down.
- Cut through the component to be replaced at the marked point with a suitable tool.
- Release the screw (1) on the right at the rear axle support.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remove ground strap (2).
- Release the screw (3) on the left at the rear axle support.
- Guide out the center silencer (1) with the help of an auxiliary person and remove it.
