Installing the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor

Check: 

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Damage to silicone surface  .
A damaged silicone surface can lead to malfunctioning of the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor  .
  • Do not tap or damage the silicone-coated surface on the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.
  • After loosening lock, wait approx. 30 min. at 20°C for silicone surface to relax.

Result: 

» Sensor (2) is damaged.

Measure: 

Result: 

» Silicone surface is damaged (1).

Measure: 

Replacing the gel pad for rain-light-solar-condensation sensors

Result: 

» Silicone surface (1) and sensor (2) do not show signs of damage.

Measure:

Result: 

» Contact surface exhibits air pockets.
