Remove the audio control unit
Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING CENTER ARMREST .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SPEAKER TRIM AT THE DASHBOARD .
- Refer to REMOVING CENTRAL INFORMATION DISPLAY (CID) .
- Refer to REMOVING CUP HOLDER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WIRELESS CHARGING STORAGE .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER STACK MODULE .
- Disconnect the connector (1).
- Release all detents (2) in the area of the dashed line one after the other (starting from the left).
When doing so, apply some pressure from the front on the audio control unit (3).
- Remove the audio control unit (3).
