Connect the battery earth lead for the active steering

Check: 

• Check if a battery is installed for the active steering.

Result: 

» The battery for the active steering is installed.

Measure: 

• Connect the negative battery cable for the active steering.

• Position the negative battery cable for the active steering on the negative battery terminal as displayed and tighten with screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Active steering battery terminal
  M6	Tightening torque	6 Nm

• Close the protective cap (1).

• Position the cover (2).
• Clip in clips (1).

• Push the auxiliary battery (2) to the left on the block with the associated foam insert.
• Insert the foam insert (1) of the separator.

• Insert separator (3).
• Position the retainer (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).
