Releasing the left or right output shafts from the rear axle differential
Releasing the output shaft on rear axle differential
- Position the special tool at the circumferential slot (1)
of the output shaft.
Releasing the left output shaft
- Position the special tool 0 495 851 (33 5 120) with the suitable special tool 0 496 765 (33 5 126) or 2 240 465 at the output shaft .
- Support the special tool 0 495 851 (33 5 120)
on a standard commercial tool (1) and press the output shaft with a jerk out of the rear axle differential.
Releasing the right output shaft
- Position the special tool 0 495 851 (33 5 120) with the suitable special tool 0 496 765 (33 5 126) or 2 240 465 at the output shaft .
- Support the special tool 0 495 851 (33 5 120)
on a standard commercial tool (1) and press the output shaft with a jerk out of the rear axle differential.
