Replacing the rear differential
CAUTION:

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Release the special tool 0 496 080 (33 5 206).
- Lift down existing rear differential (1)
from the special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200). NOTE: If necessary, summon assistance from another person.
- Replace the rear differential (1)

Parts: Rear axle differential
- Position the new rear differential (1) on the special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200).
- Secure the rear differential (1) with the special tool 0 496 080 (33 5 206) on the special tool 0 496 009 (33 5 200) .
- Remove the protective caps of the radial shaft seal.NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Insert installation protection ring (1)
in radial shaft seal (2)
