Adjusting The Rear Door On The Left

• Open the rear door.
• Slacken the screws (1) until the rear door can be shifted.
• Adjust the height (Z) of the rear door.
• Adjust the width (Y) of the rear door.

  Check 

• Check gap dimensions between the rear door and adjacent body parts.

  Result 

  » Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

  Measure

  • Adjust the rear door.
• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Rear door to door hinge
  M8 screw
  	tightening torque	19 Nm

  Adjust lock striker 

  Precondition 

  The screws on lock striker are loosened so far that the lock striker can still be shifted.

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  The gap dimensions form the basis for these repair instructions and must be observed without fail.

• Adjust the height of the lock striker so that the door lock does not bump or drag.
• Shift the lock striker sideways to adjust the gap dimension (protrusion) of the door.
• Tighten down screws (1).
