Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310ml 83422409985 - Install cavity sealing (2).
- Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (3).
- Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (1).CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310ml 83422409985 - Install cavity sealing (1).
- Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (2).
- Install the new part using an alignment bracket or a universal fixture and secure it.
- Weld areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
- N.B.: Component located on the new part (1) is shown masked out for illustrative purposes.
- Weld new part in areas (2) to (4) as per the new part preparation process.
- Weld all three panels in area (3).
- Avoid applying too much heat to adjacent adhesive area (5).
- Weld new part in areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
In so doing, avoid excessive heat input at the adhesive areas (3) behind.
- Apply repair spot-welds to series spot-welds in areas (2).
- Weld new part in the areas (1).
- Weld new part in areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
- Avoid applying too much heat to adjacent adhesive area (5).
- Weld new part in areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
- Weld new part in areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
- Perform plug weldings (2) in area (3) from the inside.
- Weld new part in areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
In so doing, avoid excessive heat input in the adhesive area (3) behind.
- Apply repair spot-welds to series spot-welds in areas (2).
- Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (2). Install cavity sealing (2).
- Pre-clean adhesive area (1) on vehicle and on new part with solvent cleaner R2.CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Body adhesive K1 195 ml 83190413015 - Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (2).
- Install new part and weld in areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.
- Apply sealant D1 to new cavity sealing (1). Install cavity sealing (1).
- Cut off area (1) of radiator tank.
- Leave open area (2) of radiator tank.
- Adapt radiator tank further if necessary.
- Install radiator tank with sealant D1.
