Remove expansion tank

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Before first working on the DSCi brake (integrated brake), the "DSCi" web-based training must be passed successfully.
The "DSCi" web-based training is started in the Learning Management System (TMSi).

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Before removing the hydraulic unit, the vehicle battery must be disconnected without fail!
The vehicle battery must never be connected during a repair!
Otherwise a brake bleeding procedure must be carried out after the repair.

The vehicle battery may only be reconnected when the brake system is completely filled with brake fluid and vented!

Preliminary work

Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .

Unfasten plug connections (1).
Remove the cable clip (2).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unscrew the screw (1) on the rear of the expansion tank.

Extract brake fluid out of the expansion tank as far as possible.
Catch escaping brake fluid.
Unscrew the screws (1) and remove the expansion tank (2) upward.
