Removing the convertible top compartment

- When carrying out all repair work, secure soft top and soft top compartment lid with a suitable support tool against collapsing. Ensure soft top is supported in the middle.
- Move the convertible top (1) in the position shown.
- The convertible top compartment lid (2) must be fully open.
- The compartment lid (1) must be closed but no longer locked in the area (3).
- Switch off ignition.
- Release all expanding rivets (arrows).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Feed out the convertible top compartment (2) and remove it.
- Disconnect the existing plug connection.
