Installing the hydraulic cylinder for the convertible top brace

• Protect the working area from escaping hydraulic fluid.
• Check the seal (1) of the hydraulic line (2) for correct fit and damage, and replace it if necessary.

• Position the hydraulic lines (2) on the hydraulic cylinder (3).
• Slide the locking plates (1) on from the outside, and lock them.
• Fasten the cable tie.

• Feed in and position the hydraulic cylinder for the convertible top brace (5).
  NOTE: For ease of positioning, the hydraulic cylinder can be inserted and withdrawn slowly by hand.
• Feed in the bottom guide pin (4).
• Fasten the safety cotter pin (3).
• Thread in the top guide pins (2),
• Slide on the retaining clip (1),
