Remove hydraulic unit

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .

• Pull the control unit (1) out of the foam backing (2).

• Pull the control unit (1) out of the foam backing (2).
• Feed out the foam backing (2).

• Release the retaining strap (1).

• Feed out the control unit (1), unlock the existing plug connections and disconnect them.
• Unfasten plug connections (2).

• Feed out the foam backing (1).
• Feed out the hydraulic unit (2) and place it in the trunk.

• Release cable tie (1).
• Remove the hydraulic unit from the sound insulation (2).

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  Risk of mixing up To ensure correct assignment, the hydraulic lines and respective connections must be marked with suitable materials in case of removal. If the hydraulic lines are connected incorrectly, the convertible top can be damaged!

• Protect the working area from escaping hydraulic fluid.
• Loosen screws (1).
• Shift the locking plate (2) in arrow direction.
• Feed out the hydraulic lines (3).
