Installing the stop pads

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Apply a suitable lubricant to both retaining tabs of the stop pad (1).

Position the stop pad (1) on the convertible top latch.
Carefully pull both retaining tabs (3) of the stop pad (1) with suitable pliers through the latch (2) until it is fully at the latch.
Make sure that the two retaining beads are completely pulled through the mounting holes.
