Replacing the rear power electric windows
Precondition
- Convertible top is open.
Convertible top flap is in open position.
Wind deflector is removed.
Rear seat backrest is folded.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR OUTER WINDOW RECESS FINISHER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SEAT BELT FINISHER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR INNER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
Remove flat motor for rear power windows
- Release the screws (1) and feed out the flat motor for the power electric windows (3).
Install the flat motor for the rear power windows
- Correctly insert the flat motor for the power electric windows (2) and tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Remove rear side window glass
- Release the multi-tooth screw (1) and remove the side window (2) from the power windows.
- Release screws (1) and remove angle bracket (2).
- Replace the power electric window.
Parts: Power electric windows
- Position the angle bracket (2) and tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Install rear side window glass
- Correctly position the side window glass (2) on the power electric windows and apply the multi-tooth screws (1) until the side window glass (2) can still be shifted.
