- Clean the adhesive area of the windshield rubber frame (1).

- Detach protective film (2) in stages from adhesive tape.
- Insert cover (1) into guides (3).

- Place special tool with pressure rollers (1) on the window edge.
- Align cover at outer edge of windshield.
- Fit the cover and visually check for perfect position.

- Move lever (1) in the arrow direction to close the special tool.
- Ensure the cover (3) is positioned correctly in the guide pulleys (2).

- Use the handwheel to draw special tool in arrow direction over the entire upper edge of the window glass.

- Position rubber frame for windshield (1) centrally on mark (2).

- Roll on rubber frame for windshield (1) in upper area with special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320)

Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position rubber frame for windshield (1) at side at marks (2) and press on by hand.

- Detach liner (2) on rubber frame for windshield (1) and press on by hand over entire length.
