Adjust the lower part of the trunk lid lock lower section

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions (arrows) between the trunk lid and rear bumper cover.

Result 

The gap dimensions between the trunk lid and the read bumper cover do not meet the specifications.

Measure

• Adjust the lower part of the trunk lid lock.

• Lever out the covers (1) with a suitable screwdriver and remove.
• Loosen screws (2) until the trunk lid lock can be shifted.
• Adjust trunk lid lock so that the tailgate has the predefined gap dimension relative to the rear bumper panel.

• Tighten down screws (2).

  Hexagon screw M8x20	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Clip in the covers (1).
• Adjust the stop pad (1) of the trunk lid by twisting it.
