Removing The Outer Section Of The A-Pillar
- Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 150 mm.
- Release welded connections in areas (2).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

- Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 50 mm from the center of the hole '0 20 mm.
- Open welded connections in area (1).NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to bonded connection .
Influence of heat that is too large leads to damage on bonded connections lying on the beading or below .- Warm bonded connection only for a short time, maximum up to 120°C.
- Release bonded rivet connections in the areas (2) and (3).
In area (4), do not damage the bonded connection that is between the second and third panel!
- Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (1).
- Release and remove the A-pillar outer part from the cavity sealing (2).
