Removing selector lever trim

NOTE: The operations shown only for one side must be carried out on both sides.

Lever out the chrome inlay (1) with special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020) from the selector lever (2) .

Lever out the button (1) with a flathead screwdriver in the marked area.

Slightly raise the button (1) and guide out in the direction of the arrow.
