Remove top automatic air flap control

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING CENTER RADIATOR ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING BOTH WHEEL ARCH COVERS IN FRONT .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING TEMPERATURE SENSOR .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Remove the wiring harness with the bracket (2).

• Loosen screws (1) and (2).

• Loosen upper air flap control with the detents (1).
• Slightly lift upper air flap control and swivel it toward the front.

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Guide out partial wiring harness (2) from the upper air flap control.
• Remove upper air flap control.
