Installing the tail light on the left and right side panels

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON LEFT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER FOR THE WATER CHANNEL LEFT AND RIGHT .

Installing the tail light on the side panel 

Check 

• Check the seal (1) for damage and replace if necessary.
• Check threaded inserts (2) for damage.

  Result 

  » The threaded insert is damaged.

  Measure

  • Replace the rear light on the side panel.

    Parts:  Tail lamp

  • Connect and lock connector (2)  of tail light (1) on the side panel.

  • Install tail light (1) on the side panel.

  • Tighten nuts (1).
    TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
    
    

    Side panel tail light to body
    hexagon nut M5	Tightening torque	3 Nm
