Remove the rear illuminated sill trim
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING REAR ENTRANCE COVER STRIP .
- Disconnect plug connection (1).
- Detach the edge protection in the area of the rear sill trim (2).
- Lever the rear sill trim (2) out with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) from the clips (3) to the top .
- Guide out the cable and remove the rear sill trim (2).
