Install the rear window
- Secure cable to rear window with adhesive tape.
- Keep 2 glue cartridges ready.
- Prepare a glue cartridge with standard nozzle C.
- Apply bead joint in area (1).
- Apply adhesive bead (2) within the mark on the rear windowTECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Adhesive bead a = Position of adhesive bead to the tolerance band 0.5 mm... 1.5 mm b = Width 7 mm... 9 mm h = Height 11 mm... 13 mm - Open trunk lid approx. 1/3 and secure in this position.
- Carefully guide the rear window (1) in with the suction lifter parallel to the C-pillar and feed in under the tailgate.
- Carefully position the rear window (1) with the suction lifters on the top and simultaneously align it sideways.
- Carefully press the rear window (1) with the suction lifters upwards until the seal rests evenly on the roof.
- Carefully and evenly press the rear window 1 all around with the suction lifters and adjust the gap dimensions.TECHNICAL DATA SPECIFICATION
Gap dimension windshield to roof outer skin 1 windshield; 2 roof outer skin a 4.3 +1.2 -1.2 mm b 0.9 +1 -1.5 mm - Measure the recessed (b) of the rear window (1) to the roof outer skin (2) with the special tool 0 495 259 (51 0 010)

Measure the gap dimension (a) with special tool 0 496 076 (00 9 470) .
- Secure rear window (1) with adhesive tap on the roof.
- Connect plug (1).NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
