Installing wheel electronics

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
It is absolutely necessary to replace the tire valve to prevent leaks.
Before installing the tire valve: Clean the bore in the wheel rim thoroughly and deburr where required.

Insert the valve insert (1) into the wheel electronics in the arrow direction.

Fit the sealing ring (1) in the arrow direction.

Ensure correct installation position.
The mark (1) on the sealing ring must point upwards.

Insert the valve insert with the wheel electronics (1) into the cleaned bore in the rim.
The wheel electronics must rest on the rim.

Replace the union nut (1).
Parts: Coupling nut
Screw on the union nut (1) manually until it abuts.
Press the wheel electronics evenly into the rim base.
Tighten union nut (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Tire valve to wheel rim
Replace union nut. Tighten screw connection in one go. Do not retighten the screw connection.	Tightening torque	8 Nm

Make sure that the wheel electronics rests evenly on the rim even after tightening.
