Removing both rear side trim panels

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove rear side trim panel

Get the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329) ready.

Unclip the rear side trim panel (1) with the clips (2) using a suitable tool.
Unclip the rear side trim panel (1) upwards out of the clamps (3) and feed it out of the edge protection.

Unlock and disconnect all the plug connections on the rear side trim panel (1) of the wiring harness (2).
