Installing the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel on the left and right
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Install luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel
- Install luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2).
- Feed in the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2) under the sealing lip of the tailgate seal and the side trim panel in the rear.
- Insert hinge cover (1) in the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel (2).
- Secure expanding rivet (1).
- G16, F93:
Secure expanding rivet (2).
Installing mounted parts of luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel
NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Secure multi-function hook with expanding rivet (4).
- Tighten screws (3) of lashing eyes (2).

- Clip in covers (1) of lashing eyes (2).
Installing the emergency release handle for the tailgate (additional work for US version)
NOTE:

- Attach the Bowden cable (2).
- Fasten the emergency release handle (1) for the tailgate to the holder.
