Install both ornamental grilles in bumper cover on the side

Installing the ornamental grille in the side bumper cover 

Check 

• Check detents (1) for damage.

Result 

» The detents are damaged.

Measure

• Replace the side bumper cover.

• Position the ornamental grille (3) in the side bumper cover and clip it in at the detents (4).
• Hook the wiring harness (1) into the holder (2) at the ornamental grille (3) in the side bumper cover.

• Insert the brace of the bumper cover into the bumper cover in the arrow direction.
• Clip in the brace of the bumper cover into the detents (2) and (3).
• Insert the brace of the bumper cover in the areas (1) in the bumper cover.

• Clip in the brace (2) of the bumper cover into the detents (3).
• Fasten expanding rivet (1).

• Correctly position the ultrasonic sensor (4) in the bumper cover and lock it in place with snap-in lugs (3).
• Clip in wiring harness with brackets (2).
• Hook the wiring harness into the holders (1).

Check 

• Check the detents (1) and (2) on the guide (3) for the bumper cover for damage.

Result 

» The detents are damaged.

Measure

• Replace the guide for the bumper cover.

• Feed bumper guide (1) in from below and clip in with detents (2).
