NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Removing the inner door sill cover strip

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Bending of plastic components.
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components.

Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

Unclip inside door sill cover strip with special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) upwards from clamps (1) and clips (2).

If necessary, unclip clips (1) from floor panel (2) and attach to inside door sill cover strip.
